The Next Generation Leadership Summit is a unique opportunity for students to learn and develop skills they need to become thought leaders and action makers on timely and relevant topics.

Who can participate?
Participation in the Next Generation Leadership Summit is available to all students participating in one or more of the Nebraska Career and Technical Student Organizations in 9th - 12th grade.
When is The Next Generation Leadership Summit?
The Next Generation Leadership Summit is scheduled to be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in Lincoln, Nebraska from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
What will it cost?
Cost of participation will be covered by Summit sponsors. Students will be responsible for transportation to and from Lincoln, and any lodging costs incurred.
How will students be selected to attend?
Selection of participants will be handled through an application process. Please complete the online application form below.
Students interested in participating are required to submit:
- an online application
- an up-to-date, one page resume
- letter of recommendation from a Career and Technical Student Organization Advisor
When are applications due?
Application deadline is November 20, 2016.
When will the selected students be notified?
Students selected to participate in the Next Generation Leadership Summit will be notified by their respective State Career and Technical Student Organization Advisor by December 1, 2016.
